Assiteca Crowd s.r.l. is a company based in Milan, licensed by Consob (authorization No. 18809 of February 26, 2014.) to carry out, through its web platform, equity-based crowdfunding activities (collection of public savings in favor of innovative start-ups). The company structure includes among others the Assiteca Group (the very first independent insurance broker in Italy and one of the first ones in Europe) and Millenium Holding (a solid holding company, already parent of the group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, DMT s.p.a.). The company expresses a corporate governance combining requisites of professionalism and experience in the evaluation and enhancement of innovation and with particular reference also to organizational and financial aspects. Roberto Russo - President
A graduate in Business and Economics, he is CEO of S.I.M. Assiteca S.p.A. Previously he was Head of the independent financial services company Cofin S.I.M. S.p.A. (2009-2012) as well as CEO of the same since 2012, Investment Director at Duemme Sgr, Mediobanca Group/Mediolanum (2006-2008), Head of Risk Arbitrage Desk for Abaxbank, Credem Group (2000-2006) and he has held positions of responsibility at Cabot S.I.M. (1999-2000), Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (1998-1999) and Banconapoli & Fumagalli Soldan-S.I.M. (1994-1998). He’s been an AIAF ordinary member since 1998, Speaker at the Value Investing Seminar since 2006 (www.valueinvestingseminar.it) and Board Member of Cattolica Partecipazioni S.p.A. since 2004.
Tommaso D'Onofrio - Managing Director
A graduate in Business and Economics. President of the European Equity Crowdfunding Association (EECA) representing platforms of 16 countries. Italian Member of the European Crowdfunding Stakeholder Forum (panel of experts appointed by European Commission). Past President of AISCRIS (Association of Italian consulting firms for Research, Innovation and Development), for four years he was Member of board (in charge of training and intellectual property) at Confindustria Innovation and Technology Services. Member of the Legal and 231 committee of Confindustria. As a member or invited speaker, he has participated to several technical committees of Confindustria (Education Committee, University Board, Committee for the Protection of Intellectual Property, Credit and Finance Committee). Until 2012 he was a member of Copyrights National Committee at the Ministry for Heritage and Cultural Activities. In 2011 he took part to the jury (made up of 5 members) of the National Innovation Award for the "Innovation and ICMT (Information, Communication, Media, Technology)" section.
Paolo Formaglio – Director
A graduate in Business and Economics, Chartered Accountant and Auditor, he is a founding partner of Numeralia Corporate Finance through which he acts as advisor for operations of national importance. After a first postgraduate experience at Price Waterhouse Coopers, he held the position of Director for over 10 years at Ernst & Young in the M&A and Transaction business line. He has an extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions transactions and has assisted several Italian and international customers with the acquisition and sale of companies both in Italy and abroad. He concluded operations in the cosmetics, chemicals, logistics, transportation, automotive, hospitality, fashion & lifestyle industries.
Marcello Nocera - Director
After graduating in Law, he has gained substantial experience in the insurance brokerage sector of various foreground Italian organizations. He is currently a Shareholder and Director of Assiteca Naples S.p.a. As professional conciliator he has specialized in conciliation processes which he also applies to settle complex social disputes.
Samuele Pelizzari - Consigliere
After completing his studies, he held positions of increasing responsibility at technology companies. Following an articulated path of personal and professional growth, for three years he has been Member of the Board of Directors of DMT S.p.a. (now E.I. Towers S.p.A.), a company listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange. At the same time he was CEO of Towertel Italian S.p.a. (in those days a national leader in the field of equipment for radio-television signal transmission and telecommunications broadcasting, with about 1,500 locations);
